Emily is a member of our solicitor’s group. She received her L.L.B. from the University of Victoria in 2007 after obtaining a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa. Emily was a Law Clerk with the B.C. Supreme Court in Victoria, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2009. Prior to joining our firm in 2011, Emily had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of legal issues, including corporate and commercial matters, real estate, expropriation, leasing, land development, and various issues relating to land and water. Commencing in 2011, Emily’s practice is focused on local government law, and she provides legal advice to local governments across British Columbia.
