Ryan Bortolin is a member of both our litigation and solicitor groups. Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Masters of Education from the University of Calgary. He received his LL.B. from the University of Victoria in 2009. Before going to law school, Ryan taught English in Asia, the Middle East and South America. After completing his articles, Ryan completed a one year clerkship with the B.C. Supreme Court in Victoria. Ryan was called to the Bar in 2011. His legal background includes experience at the Provincial government level, having worked with British Columbia’s Ministry of Health Services and the Ministry of Attorney General. Ryan has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of legal issues, including labour and employment, privacy, leasing, and bylaw enforcement.
