Lui
Carvello is a member of our solicitors group. In addition to his
LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School at York in 1999, he has a Masters degree in Environmental Studies and is also a fully accredited member of the Canadian
Institute of Planners (MCIP). He has experience in advising clients
on land development issues such as zoning, community plans, sign and
noise bylaws,
streamside protection and fisheries legislation, contaminated sites,
subdivision, nuisance declarations, non-conforming use protection,
development works agreements, development permits, DCCs, property tax
exemptions, freedom of information, covenants and general
legal advice. Prior to law school, he worked in municipal planning departments
in England, Ontario and British Columbia.
